There we go
That picture of him with the truck in the background doesn't look half bad. I was wondering when something like this would be feasible.

The guy's goal seems pretty weak: making pseudo-windows in walls? I'm sure just getting a fucking window installed would be much cheaper. It's probably a lame cover-up for the actual intended use: the military, and covert ops.

I don't know why BBC is so worried about thieves using it as they describe. Objects already disappear when placed under ordinary clothes, heh. And as far as them getting in and out of the store unnoticed, the scanners before the exit should suffice, or simply bells on the door.

Now if they just hook a fancy multi-optic headpiece up to it, and pull a plasma-caster out of their ass, we'll be able to have our own Predators, heh.

I saw an article on it a couple years ago, but most of us who saw it (including me) thought it was trick photography. Especially since they said they had to use a special lens to take the picture. I still have it, although I don't have a link to the article:

This article was more specific, and doesn't say anything about trick cameras, so I guess it must actually be real. Which is pretty freaking mindblowing!

Yeah, I was thinking all the same things. Have no idea why they are worried about crooks. It's surely going to be used in the military first.
