This is hilarious... in real life, I almost always test on Meyers-Briggs tests as INTJ. However, I recently ran across this neat little online program someone wrote that analyzes the writing in your blog and instantly gives you a personality diagnosis. My diagnosis? Exact opposite of INTJ... ESFP! Wow. Does this mean that in my blog I try to be the opposite of myself, or does it mean that I just don't understand myself very well and tend to think I'm the opposite of myself? Or is it just a 1 in 16 chance and was purely coincidence--I'm gonna go with the last one, but it's entertaining none the less.

from http://typealyzer.com for spoonless.livejournal.com:

ESFP - The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure
and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright
colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to
plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and
visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation -
qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

Incidentally, I found this from Lubos Motl's blog entry about it here... he says it read him as an INTP which he says is dead on. I tend to think of him more as an INTJ (and actually, moreso than myself even), but whatever they are both pretty close (and Facebook's test says I'm an INTP also for some reason.) As an example of how his "judging" personality can get a bit out of control sometimes, read in amazement at this gem:

"The sitcom also correctly indicates that subpar subdisciplines of theoretical physics such as LQG are more often than usually investigated by women (because the main thing that supports these directions is affirmative action, not merit) and they are often arrogant and ugly bitches who love to backbite others."

Gee... I wonder why Harvard asked him to resign (*sarcasm*). But I guess he's more allowed to say such things now that he's fled the country.

Re: ISFP??
yeah, I guess you're right. Actually, I was thinking I wonder how different it might be if it had access to my friends-only entries. Somehow I bet it would at least come out I instead of E. And if it went back more than 20 entries, it would surely come out N instead of S. I think it mostly has to do with what happened to be on the front page of my journal at the time.

In your case, it's unfortunately an indication of how dumb AI is and how much further it has to go. It probably saw you questioning whether getting trampled by a mob of people is a tragedy, and figured you must be *sooo* compassionate because you are on the subject of tragedies. (Most people like to just avoid thinking about them and talk about shopping or the weather!)
